Proposal and invocation to all Recce SIG members: Our small group is blessed with it's own thread here. But how about also using it for mutual information on new recce related kits and accessories ? For example: www.modelingmadness.com/scotts/korean/preview/sword/sw72026.htmIf enough "heads up" come in it might even be worth asking Colin to pin the thread, and we all would have some kind of readily available "scrap book" on news. What do you think ? Rolf

I'll bring some of these to Telford if anyone in the SIG wants some - 51 Sqdn Canberra B6(RC) "lumps and bumps" - 48th scale. They'll go well with A2Zee's T11/19 and T4 noses both of which can be used to make a "funny one" Dennis

Spotted and bought at the Avon show on the 23rd August, the new boxing of the Hasegawa 1:48 Draken. It's entitled “S35E/RF-35 Draken ‘Reconnaissance’” and has decal options for two different Swedish S35Es (different tail numbers, same colour scheme) or three different Danish RF-35Es (again same colour scheme, different tail numbers). Sprue trees include a few new ones not seen in any other Draken box afaik. The new sprues include two large external tanks, two different recce noses, two sets of camera windows plus a new canopy for the S35E. So now I can indulge my recce and my Dragon themes in the same model. Incidentally, I suggest you check out the extremely informative Hasegawa kit lists at modelingmadness.com/splfeat/kr/has48e.htmThis is a very useful resource run by one Tony Hodun, and has counterparts for several different types of kit eg WWII props, etc.
