This is the one that's going to be 6 metres high when fully rigged with fly jib.

I didn't realise the Unomat did such professional things. For under £200 that looks really useful!

The Unimat part is the black and red part which is just clamped to the side of the mill. The blue machine with the rotary head on is a mill machine from Chester Tools. The Unimat 1 has some nice features to it, just not big enough or strong for big stuff.

That looks like some real heavy engineering.
Have you any pics of what the vehicle will look like and are you making it to a particular scale?
I hope you have a big enough car to transport it to Scotland to show it off at the Perth show some time.
What is your timescale for building it so far and to maybe finish it by?
6m Tall ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I will be wearing my hard hat to look this one over.

Hi Nige, Managed to take some photo's of the real beast in 1999, its based in Middlesboro'. Been collecting information on it since, as there was only one built its a bit rare. Started modelling it a couple of years ago, so it will take a while to finish it. Here's a photo of it being tested for the first time.

The company is Sarens on Riverside Park Road. Depot used to be Grayston White Sparrow. Thanks for the offer of photo's. The problem is that its hardly ever at the depot. One contract was in Kazachstan for 2 years. Then it moves on to next contract, only comes back to depot for repairs/maintainance. Heard there moving its depot to continent
