Right folks, hers the latest pickies..... Still lots to do, but its taking shape. I had a flick through a "Janes" military referance book at work and found that the East German forces used these Mercedes for tank transporters...... Hmmmm perhaps a splash of green could be on the cards. Talking of Janes books, they are going on ebay for £25 each, thats very cheap considering they cost anywhere from £300-£400 to buy (and they arnt available to the public) so i got myself some

Well its all green, "Go! Go! Go!" I found a matt green that is the same as a Dutch Wagon we have in the yard, (looks kinda grey in the pics) I also need to sand down the tyres a little more as the dont look that realistic, need to be a little more worn down. I recon too this is gonna be weathered a fair bit, not plastered in mud just well used. Enjoy ;D

Looks really good. Might use that sort of colour on the oilfield Merc i'm building. I've used Tamiya XF63 on those Italeri plastic tyres, looks quite good

The tyres are done with Halfords Matt black. The green is from Humbrol's rattle cans (dark green 30) although its for planes , its the same colour as a "used" Dutch army truck lol

I've not used Tamiya rattle cans either. Just used their acrylic paint sprayed with an airbrush
