On the electronic front I will definatly have a go at the EP-3 this year if only to "yellow water off" the kit collectors as that kit is as rare as rocking horse poo ;D For Martime if we go with that it fis as US Navy, also I have a Swedish Saab 17 which I could build on floats. For Lesser know airforces I could do the Saab, or a Russian Su-2R the russans did not do a lot of pure recce aircraft, also have 2 1/48 MiG-21R in the stash with Cuban decals for one of them in that garish Blue/Green camo they used to wear . Oh forgot I have a Mirage IIIR I wanted to do in Swiss markings. Julien So once we make a decision I might start building.

This was put into Israeli serivce. Three IAF F-4Es were modified to carry a smaller HIAC-1 camera inside a lengthened Phantom nose and also featured modified engine inlets and other modifications for enhanced performance. Known as the F-4E(S) (S=special), F-4X or RF-4X, the first of these aircraft was delivered sometime in late 1975. Mod was done as the original camera in a belly pod caused too much drag. Airdoc do this conversion in 1.48 www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=AIRR4812 I do believe there was a parajon one in 1.72 & !/48 though I am told it is not as accurate as the AirDoc one. The black was painted on the recce nose to make it look like a normal F-4E. These were fitted with the extended refueling probe to take drouge refueling though the exact date is unknown. Most of the missions for this aircraft are still restricted. It is believed they did recce the Iraqi Osirak nuclear plant in Bahgdad before the leveled it. Julien

Thanks for bringing this up Matt as it was niggling me as well.
Thanks Martin for your answer. Yes its known about and we need to keep an eye on it. As someone who is fairly new to judging one thing I know we don't need at the moment is another class. We were a bit stretched as it was.
A watching breif need on this one.

Thought I would show this here. Its my first non aircraft/helo build for a long while. Flash hightlights the weathering a bit too much, looks better in person. For our club stand at Telford this year, just got to do the base now. Julien

If you got this from Hannants and they say it is on the sheet then you are able to return it for a full refund under the Sale Of Goods act. This is as it is clearly not what was advertised.
They could also be in torouble from trading standards as you cant sell something saying contaisn X,Y,Z and Z is not there.

The fujimi phantoms have seperate pylons for the outer stations. To be honest you very rarely see phantoms carrying anything other that tanks on these stations.
I have seen photos of RAF phantoms carrying recording equipment here for missile test firings.
Also USAF phontoms did carry weapons here. One of the most famous was "Chico The Gunfighter" which carried 20mm gunpods on the outer staions in it role as FAST FAC.
