RD49,
Got that! I am assuming Airfix kit modified by yourself? Any particular other bits used?
Look forward to meeting and seeing your Hurricane.

Hi Julien,
Do you by chance still have the box or the instructions with the kit number of your 1/72nd Fujimi F-86 ?
Already started hunting for the kit while looking for Colin's quarter scale wishes of RF-84 and Mirage F1 CR .......
no joy so far, just found F-86F's "Korea" and "Blue Impulse" kits without provisions for the recce variant.
P.S. Willing to buy or trade (the recce variant) with a Mbox F-86 (collector's item I'm told...)
P.S. II
Seven 1/72nd WWII German recce kits for the table presently being prepared for packing.

Rolf, I will bring the box and the instructions to Telford.
If you see one I still need a F-86-F40 and would not mind the blue impulse one either! ;D

262 is virtually done - just the decals to do. For labelling purposes it is 'Me 262 A-1a/U3 White Framed 33'

Colin
Thnaks for the comments - decals all done, just a final spray of Klear, a little wash along some of the panel lines (not all as the 262 had its panel lines filled with putty prior to painting to aid its aerodynamics - amazing what a little research does for you) and then its all done.
I have also made contact with the Sec of Farnborough and he is confident he can get the model to and from Telford. Just gutted I cant go myself.
I have really caught the recce bug now Colin, with a birthday around the corner I have given SWMBO a 'wish list' which includes the Eduard Bf 110E (1/48), Bf 109E (1/48), Fieseler Storch (1/32) and a Henschel Hs 126 (1/48). Trying to wangle the Do 17 (1/72) too but that might be pushing my luck.
Happy Modelling.

Paul,
Good news about the Me 262, looking forward to seeing it, but disappointed we wont get to meet, (this SMW), by the sound of it!
Glad to hear you have been bitten by the 'bug' ! Particularly as you seem to be interested in a much neglected subject.........Recce, let alone Luftwaffe!!! Interesting subject and plenty of challenges to have a go at with those! Must admit, Storch and Henschel sound quite intriguing........
Particularly with your interest in this subject, it would be useful to communicate with Rolf, in Switzerland, as this is also a subject he is interested in, and has a certain expertise.....and has some lovely models! I have said it before, but I will say it again, I have to take my hat off to anyone who has a go at painting some of those glorious Luftwaffe paint schemes.....
He might be useful regarding sourcing models, conversions/decals etc. Not sure if I sent you his details, will send email with address and some photos of his models.
