Why not make it reconnaissance in general (Recce) SIG? There are some interesting SIGINT, ELINT or whatever types out there with not a camera among them.

Southsix1, your a git! but your right. OK how do I try and go about forming a new SIG, Mike C, your suggestion of Recce SIG sounds good to me, I'm concious that anyone/everyone interested in Recce may not be in my local area, folks, its up to, you anyone interested......

Contact me with details of what you plan to do a list of potential members etc and It will be put before the committee for confirmation. Don't be put off by the last bit though. In my time I have never seen a branch or Sig turned down its just a formality.

Remember some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them!

JulienD, can I count you as in! most interesting prospect, nice aircraft (RF8), I know it's not what I'm into, but still made one in the past, and its exactly what I'm about, little known recce aircraft/jobs, we need to publicise these aircraft.......

Mike C, can I count on you? are you interested? despite my preference for cameras in an aircraft, I do readily accept your point about the wider field of recce aircraft that don't have them, hell its still all about a subject that has little publicity, and I feel it needs it???Are you in?
