Hello folks, talked to Larrissa this evening, cleared a lot of things up including certain confusion about what the SIG is called, dont be surprised if it is referred to as PHOTO RECON as opposed to RECCE, we hopefully have 12 foot frontage at SMW 2006, next to Spitfire SIG, next question being how do we fill it? Now in all honesty I can fill it myself with my collection of RAF PRU aircraft purely from WWII, but there's more to the SIG and the subject than that! What would you like to show? I do not want to fill it myself!look forward to your replies.......

Hello all, we have space at SMW 2006, as far as I know two tables next to Spitfire SIG some 12 foot frontage, now so far, Mike C wants to display a couple of Mustangs in 1/48 and a hurricane PR 2 and Spitfire XIV in 1/72, and I have a collection of 1/48 aircraft, all RAF, so far. I will describe what I have got, so you all know, and hopefully you will say what YOU would like to display under the "Photo Recce" SIG umbrella. I have Spitfires, PR 1 X3, PR X x1, PR XI x2, FR IX x 1, FR XIV x 1, FR XVIII x 1, Mosquito's- PR1 x 1, PR XVI x 2, PR34 x 2, Hornet PR 2 x 1, And last but not least Mitchell PR 1?, almost forgot Hurricane PR 2.... Anybody else want to chip in and display anything else? ? This is an ongoing work , and the SIG is ultimately about Photo recon, anyone got anything, they would like to display? ?? Ted love to, thanks for the offer, think I'm going to try and get some "shelves" for the tables, to try and cram everything on, any ideas where I might look? By the way just had a look at your website and noticed a review for the Global Hawk UAV, with it being "Recce"", WOW now thats an interesting model with presence, do you know if its available in this country

Julien D, Yes please! The RF 8G and the Banshee sound good, as for observation aircraft, in an Ideal world I would say yes, the Seafox is certainly a dainty little aircraft, and I remember making one years ago, however I'm starting to be conscious of squeezing a fair few models onto two tables. Could I suggest as this is the first display we concentrate on aircraft that had more obvious "photo recce" uses? If things go well and we do have the room, and if you bring it along, then yes of course, lets get it on there.
As you may have noticed in previous post, starting to look at obtaining "shelves" as I have seen on various other stands in the past, to try and get more models on display, any ideas?

Hello everyone, just started to put together a list of models for display, and trying to get my head round how much space they might take up, and realised I don't know the scale of a lot of your models, all of mine are 1/48th, could you let me know.....
Thanks, Colin
