re the lanc, as well as the lincoln rudders and glasing for the rear windows you do also get a later style of rear turret (twin '50's). Yes you have to cut out the panels for the glasing but they are recessed on the inside of the fusealage and yes you do have to fill in the smaller side windows but neither are difficult. The normal boxing of the kit does give you all of these things EXCEPT the glasing for the later style turret and the Lincoln fins - I know because I took a knife to the normal boxing to do the Aeronaval version on the Franch Airforces Sig stand at last years SMW. The post war boxing offers two recon markings:MR3 D.H, RAF School of Maritime Recon, 1956 (on the box art, all over dark sea grey), or GR Mk III, U.H, RAF School of Martime Recon, 1953, all over flat white - now that looks naughty !

Thanks for the questions and now the answers.
Yes I will be putting pages up for the Victor, but being a serving member of the RAF, my time at home is very short so I get to work on the site when I can.
I do have a lot of information to go through as I have worked within the reconnaissance trade for over 30 years.
Also, I will be up loading the Luftwaffe section hopefully after Christmas. I have had a great input from Dave Wadman, author of Aufklarer (his first book on Luftwaffe reconnaissance), now out of print.
However, he has published - Aufklarer Volume One: Luftwaffe Reconnaissance Aircraft and Units 1935-1941 and part 2 is due out very soon.
I will post any updates to the site once they are up-loaded.

Ill look forward to that - managed to borrow a copy of Aufklarer Vol 1 from the library and after checking my bank account notice the publishers have extracted a sum of money so I expect Vol 2 to hit my doormat soon.
Nice site by the way.

Mick,
Same here, any chance you will be coming to Telford at all?
Love to meet and chat! Are you a modeler?
Any chance you would like a PR 9 kit? Many of us are waiting for it to be released..........

Ayup Folks, the airrecce site has been linked to the SIG page on the IPMS (UK) web site and the original page removed.

Thank you all for your comments. Hopefully after Christmas I will have some major updates.
I have started a Spitfire PR XI, but again thats on hold, also I got hold of a Matchbox PR9 on ebay a number of months ago.
I cannot wait for 1/48 PR9 to hit the streets.
Being new to the site, can I ask when Telford is.

Mick,
It is this coming weekend the 10/11th, at The International Centre at Telford.......
Open to public 10:00 I believe, but 09:00 if you are a member of IPMS, cost I think is £8, if not a member.
If you do fancy it, the "Photo Recce" SIG is in hall 2, on tables 173/174.
I will be there all weekend, as will Dennis, and we are both 'Ex RAF'.

Hello All.....!!!!
Can I just say that with only a couple of days to go, I am feeling a little 'frazzled', probably just like the rest of you........So much to do, so little time........
Manning the stand.......I know that Dennis and I will probably be there most of the weekend, (gladly), and that Julien and Rolf will undoubtedly be spending a fair bit of time there as well.
Can I remind you all that we have a suggestion of a 'joint' display next year, with 'Avon' Branch, and that I have a couple of thoughts that I would like to mention/discuss for the SIG....
Is it possible for as many members of the SIG to be on the stand around 15:00hrs on Saturday? Lets face it, it's the only time we get together, and hopefully we will all have got the 'frenzy' of the first day, out of our systems by 15:00.......
By way of incentive, I am speaking for Dennis here, he has printed a lot of Recce photos up and will be bringing them along, maybe that would be a good time to get together, talk, and then Dennis could hand out the freebies!
Love to hear your thoughts.....
Colin

If I can get across, I could bring some original Photo reconnaissance imagery from my collection and even my website running from my laptop?
