Welcome to the forum. The 1/24 Ford Anglia brings back memories, maybe I should think about building the one I had, I replaced the wings and hood with a one piece fibreglass front c/w with Triumph clips on the side ... ah happy days!

Name: Derek Bradshaw Age: 49 Location: Barton upon Humber, North Lincs, UK. Job/work: Senior Airworthiness Engineer for BAE SYSTEMS at Brough. Modeling Preferances: Mostly aircraft, but I like the occasional foray into unknown subjects. I spend 99.9% of my spare time making model master patterns for various model companies. Modeling dis-likes: Not too many. I would say trying to hand brush acrylic paint and painting figures (they make me break out into a sweat just at the thought! ). Favorite model you have built: Difficult...Probably a tie between a converted Airfix 1/72 Canberra B(I)6 into a B.2 Olympus engine test-bed aircraft, and a scratch built 1/87 scale Chinook HC.1 (long before any Chinook kit was commercially available). And finally, Which model has given you the most grief: I really can't remember! Every kit seems to have it's own quirks and problems, but I have not felt the need to throw any at my nearest wall in disgust (yet! ;D).

Welcome to the forum Derek, I see we have something in common, a sheer dread of painting figures, maybe we should take lessons?

Name: Doug Rogers Age: 47 Location: Horsham, West Sussex, although we're hoping to move house very soon. Job/work: Manager of Baggage Operations, Gatwick South Terminal Modeling Preferences: 1/48 scale WWII, although my stash has developed some interesting turns recently towards WWI and Car/Bike kits. Modeling dis-likes: Photo-etch, life's just too short. Favorite model you have built: My last one. And finally, Which model has given you the most grief:Revell 1/32 Me109G, the old one, a very badly behaved kit. Trying to fit Eduard PE interior and exterior seemed a good idea at the time!!
