Welcome to the forums Doug. It looks like your stash is something like mine, just when you think you've decided to go down a particular modelling road, you find another signpost to a place that sounds interesting?

Hi All, Sorry i neglected to introduce myself ... Name: Charles Age: 45 Location: Burnley, Lancashire Job/work: Cashier Modelling Preferences: I model N scale & HO railroads U.P. of course but still have an interest in scale modelling ... in the past .. ahem 30 odd years trucks cars military 1/35 figures just about anything apart from aircraft lately started again with W&G conversions and have a few projects planned for more kits of W&G just need the wacky streak for inspiration ;D Modelling dis-likes: Painting aircraft and finishing them just couldnt get the hang of it. Favorite model you have built: Tamiya Famo crane conversion with three photo etched sets added and seperate track links. Which model has given you the most grief: cant think of one in particular. So bit about me and i hope to do more on the static model side along with my other interests.

hi ive been modelling for a few years and really fancy getting involved with meetings and definitely compettions. I will be joining properly very shortly, does anyone know if theres any meets in the Birmingham/Worcester area?
Name: Richard
Age: 22
Location: Bromsgrove
Job: Tile showroom manager
Model Interests: Im a huge military fan and will build anything military based. My projects have included WW1 , WW2 and modern. Would love to do an Accurate Armour Scammell but cant justify the price just yet. I have dabbled with vintage tractor models but always come back to military
Modelling dis-likes: separate track links do i glue it all then struggle to paint it all neatly or do it separate but then risk messing work up with glue ooh it does annoy me!
Favourite model: Tiger 1 with full interior from Academy
Least favourite model: Maquette Bishop nothing fitted how it was meant to
thats roughly me but i hope to get to know you all in future
