In the past I have found a showerhead attachment, a large soft paintbrush and a sink full of soapy water to be the only real remedy.

Posting multiple photos just required you to input the codes sequentially. so ...[/img} ...[/img} will give two pictures one above the other. Works best when using an online storage facility like photobucket etc THC

If you go to the HobbyLink japan website www.hlj.com they do have a replacment parts service. Only issue may be if the kit is no longer in production in which case you're relying on them having one 'lying around'. Happy Hunting THC

Nick,
As you know I build very little but 'paying' work.
I just build what I'm sent. Thing is because that's my only modelling it gets done at the steady rate required. Just a little different way of applying myself causes it to be easier.

Hi there mister claw, thank you for your comments. Couple of points though. Not ever modeler uses vac-form and if i was having a laugh i would not have done PROPER RESEARCH ON PRICE BEFORE LISTING. If I may draw your attention to current Merlin models FB5 Gunbus currently at £7 on eBay an rising. Also, any modeler worth his (mustn't be sexist) or her salt could easily turn a bunch of asterix's (?) into a work of art. I thank you Point taken but… The Merlin Swift looks nothing like the expected result. I've built it in the past so have first hand experience, I ended up with the FR5 by cross kitting it with the vacuform (bought started and missing bits as a parts mule for the purpose) kit to achieve a reasonable standard. From my notes on the subject I would observe that the Merlin fuselage halves were of different lengths and section. The wing was of the incorrect platform and the majority of the detailed parts were direct copies of the ancient Swift 1 kit from the dawn of plastic kits. I don't disagree that it has some either collector or sentimental value but as a model kit of a Swift it has none. As to the guarded or not implication about modellers worth their salt that my friend is not an argument you want to start. As to the GunBus that kit is an entirely different proposition to the Swift. For a start it actually looks like the subject matter when built. Guess what I built that one when it came out too. Now stick it on Ebay and provide a link to the sale let us see what it really fetches. THC

Nick,
This show's been going on for years now a really good little jaunt as Karl says.
My best memory involves a CDSW and 25lb FA with limber a set of traffic lights and a particularly impatient foreign taxi driver.
After forcing his way into the convoy he looked up and found himself staring down the barrel of the 25pounder at the breech end of which were Adrian Laycock and me waving gently at him. I actually think he went paler than me.

With the very greatest of respect, you're having a laugh.
The vast majority of modellers would have better results with the rare planes Vacuformed Swift than that piece of ****.
One sold on Ebay a week ago for 99p.
