Blimpy, welcome to the forum. So, sticks and canvas are your thing eh? ... well, the string-bag portion of the forum is ever so slightly under used, I'll look forward to your posts ... hint! I really must finish that 1/32 Nieuport.

Thank you for the welcome, Nick! At the moment I have Wingnut Wings SE.5a on the modelling bench. In an attack of enthousiasm I already entered it in the SMW-competition. That was a bit too premature, I'm afraid. I'm not going to finish it in time.... Now to find out how to unregister it! I'll check out the "Stringbag"-thread!

... Now to find out how to unregister it! Erik, no need, if it's not there on time it won't be entered, that's one of the reasons for registering every model you think may be finished, just in case. Come and enjoy the show and good luck with any other models you've entered.

Hi Eric,
Welcome to the forum.
I expected you to finish the SE.5a in time for our EuroScaleModelling next week in Nieuwegein. What is keeping you? We have more than 120 hours to go before ESM and you don't have to work for more than 40 hours, so 80 hours to finish the model. Seems like plenty of time to me. Plus as added bonus that you can enter it in SMW in a month time without having to hurry anymore.
Regards,
Peter Rozendal

Doga welcome. We have an active car modeller section here and the occasional rail posting, maybe we should consider R/C in the future? I look forward to seeing your posts here.
