Hello all, just joined IMPS UK after years of dithering:
Name: Andy Park
Location: Cambridgeshire (exiled Tyke)
Age: 39
Job: Run my own oversize transport and shipping company
Modelling Preferences: As long as it's 1/87 pretty much anything, mainly trucks and plant but I've even done a 4000kN blanking press as a thank you for a Japanese customer!
Favourite Model Built: Very difficult question - usually the one currently in build as there's still hope for it then!!
Worst Aspect of Modelling: Love scratchbuilding and finishing/weathering - not keen on painting if anything

Name:
My name is Tim Moore (Dudders) Age:
I'm 40 Location: I live in Astley near Manchester
Job/work: I work for A-plant Lux, we supply traffic management and traffic lights on our roads (grrrr! i hear you say)
Modeling Preferances: I use to build 1/35 armour for 20 years, but converted to 1/24 truck modelling 3 years ago after falling prey to the real thing whilst working on the motorway
Modeling dis-likes: can't be doing with sci-fi
Favorite model you have built: 1/35 trumpeter A-10A
Which model has given the most grief? the shell commorrant oil rig which was started years ago and still is nowhere near finished due to the bright idea of replacing all tube and beams sections with brass, copper and aluminium

Right lads, grab the boundah, he's the one who's responsible for all those flippin roadside temporary lights, I usually find them in the middle of nowhere at night with the generator out of fuel. Apart from that, welcome to the forum Tim, nice to see another truck modeller on here, I look forward to your participation in some of the truck threads.

Hi tinleeds (Ivan), Don't know if you've tried any of the IPMS branches local to Leeds, but if you're interested you can drop me a personal message.
